Big Stone Records is proud to host the ARMC Chart
We’re excited to officially announce that Big Stone Records is now the home of the Appalachian Regional Music Chart (ARMC) — a new monthly spotlight on the best original music coming out of our region.
The ARMC was created to uplift and recognize local and regional artists from East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Southeast Kentucky, and Western North Carolina — musicians who are writing their truth, staying rooted in Appalachian tradition, and crafting songs that deserve to be heard.
This isn’t about social media followers or industry buzz — it’s about the music.
Each month, the ARMC team listens to submitted songs and ranks them based on:
Songwriting
Vocal performance
Production quality
Regional authenticity
Replay value
Why we’re doing this:
Because we believe there’s world-class music being made in small towns, front porches, and backwoods studios across Appalachia — music that too often flies under the radar.
We’re proud to host and support this chart as a way to honor those voices, promote their songs, and build a stronger music community across the region.
Want to be considered for next month’s ARMC Chart?
It’s easy:
Just fill out the form below and drop a link to the song on Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon Music.
We’ll listen to every submission.
Let’s put more ears on great original music from our part of the world.
